Snowdrops and Crocuses: a family day out at Welford Park

Heard about long time ago but only last year managed to pack ourselves and go to see the blooming snowdrops at Welford Park. It was well worth it! Along the snowdrops we spotted some colourful crocuses. I found a lovely watering can few days ago and it was a great opportunity to take some photos with it and pretend we were actually watering the plants.

We walked by the mansion in Welford Park, got some tea and cakes at the beautifully transformed caravan. We found a stream of water and threw some pebbles in it. We played Rolly - Polly on the hilly grass area in front of the mansion.. And then tired already, at least the boys, we discovered the snowdrops heaven. Thousands of snowdrops grown under the trees creating a white blanket under the trees. I got struck by the old lady enjoying her walk in the snowy paths so got a snap of her too, while another mum offered to take a photo of the three of us. Let me know what you think or if you know another beautiful snowdrop area like that. ❤️❤️
